Jasvir Singh, a 45-year-old ice cream vendor, was tragically killed on October 3, 2015, in East Oakland, California. Singh, affectionately known in the community as "The Ice Cream Man," was shot while operating his ice cream truck in the 9300 block of Peach Street. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m., and responding officers found Singh suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate efforts, Singh was pronounced dead at the scene.
