Andrew Mendoza, a 24-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on February 23, 2016, in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 11:40 p.m. on the 14600 block of Nordhoff Street. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Mendoza was found by officers from the LAPD's Mission Division, who responded to a call reporting a shooting.
