On March 25, 2024, 62-year-old Glenn Carrera was fatally shot in Reseda, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of Jamieson Avenue, where officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Carrera unconscious and not breathing inside a white van that had multiple bullet holes and a shattered passenger window. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:53 p.m.
The Los Angeles County Coroner's office later confirmed that Carrera's death was a homicide resulting from gunshot wounds. Witnesses described the suspect as a white male in his 20s, wearing black sunglasses and a white shirt. He was last seen driving northbound on Jamieson Avenue toward Saticoy Street in an older model BMW sedan.
As of now, there have been no reports of arrests related to this case. The Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate the shooting and is actively searching for the suspect.
