Miguel Amezcua, a 26-year-old Latino male, was tragically shot and killed on July 22, 2006, in Wilmington, Los Angeles. The incident occurred during a backyard party attended by approximately 50 people, including members of the Eastside Wilmas gang. The party, which featured music, dancing, and socializing, turned violent around 11:30 p.m. when a conflict erupted.
