Mike Kennedy, a resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically passed away on July 22, 2016. His death was the result of a violent incident that occurred in Oildale, a neighborhood in Bakersfield. On the day of the incident, Kennedy was involved in a standoff that escalated into a shooting. He was critically injured after being shot by Christopher Gray, a known associate.
