Shawn Chatman, aged 47, was tragically killed on August 30, 2016, in Oakland, California. He was one of two victims in a double homicide that occurred at Cesar Chavez Park in Oakland's Fruitvale district. The other victim was 28-year-old Augustine Vigil.
