James Mayes, a 30-year-old resident of San Francisco, was tragically shot and killed on the night of December 23, 2018, outside Club 21 in the Uptown district of Oakland, California. The incident occurred around 9:35 p.m. on Franklin Street, where Mayes was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
