James Carl Forsberg, aged 53, was found dead on November 7, 2016, in his home located in the 100 block of Portland Avenue, Auburn, California. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately deemed suspicious, prompting a thorough investigation by the Auburn Police Department, in collaboration with the Placer County District Attorney’s Office and the California Department of Justice.
