Ernest H. McMurry Jr., aged 50, tragically lost his life on November 21, 2016, in Oakland, California. The incident occurred in the 2300 block of 80th Avenue, where McMurry was fatally shot in the head. The altercation that led to his death began as a dispute over property maintenance, specifically tree trimmings.
