Obataiye Edwards, a 19-year-old from Oakland, California, was fatally shot by police officers on December 20, 2010. The incident occurred following a high-speed chase that began when police received a tip about a planned gang-related shooting. Edwards was identified as a member of the PT gang, a subset of the Ghost Town gang, which had a violent rivalry with the Acorn gang.
