Patrick Sanyeah, a 34-year-old man originally from Liberia, tragically lost his life on May 12, 2017, in Orange, California. Sanyeah, who had moved to the United States at the age of 17, was found bleeding in the parking lot of the Stadium Promenade entertainment complex, located between a Chili's restaurant and a movie theater. He succumbed to a gunshot wound to the lower torso at a nearby hospital. This incident marked the first homicide of the year for the city of Orange.
