On December 23, 2024, the Center Police Department received a call from a concerned mother requesting a welfare check on her son, 36-year-old Cordero Wyatt. She reported that Wyatt had been at his girlfriend's residence in Center, Texas, but was no longer answering his phone and had not returned home.

Officers contacted Wyatt's girlfriend, 40-year-old Alicia Petite, who stated that Wyatt had been at her residence earlier, but friends had picked him up, and he was no longer there. Petit ...
