Pedro Sandate, a 33-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, was tragically shot and killed on July 1, 2017. The incident occurred in the northwest part of Bakersfield, specifically on Rolling Bay Drive. According to reports, the Bakersfield Police Department received a call around 9:20 a.m. from a woman who reported that a man with a gun was in her home.
