In a story that faded from the headlines, the life of Gloria Poole, a 60-year-old woman, came to a tragic end in New Orleans. In May of 2010, Poole was found deceased in her apartment located in the Central City neighborhood. An obituary notice for a woman of the same name was published in The Times-Picayune on May 14, 2010.
