In the quiet, early morning hours of January 18, 2025, a horrific scene unfolded inside a home in the New Orleans suburb of River Ridge, forever altering the lives of one family. Dung Pham, a 40-year-old woman, was tragically killed in a violent rampage orchestrated by her husband. The devastating event, which also claimed the life of her youngest child, sent shockwaves through the community, leaving neighbors and friends in disbelief.
The perpetrator was identified as Pham's 46-year-old
husband, Glenn Bohne Jr. In an act of unimaginable violence, Bohne turned a gun on his own family, fatally shooting his wife, Dung Pham, and their 2-year-old daughter, Amy Bohne. The couple's two other daughters, aged 9 and 13, were also shot and wounded during the attack.
A courageous 911 call from the 13-year-old daughter, despite her own injuries, alerted authorities to the dire situation. When Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies arrived at the residence around 4 a.m., they discovered the bodies of Dung Pham and her toddler in a hallway.
