Samuel Isaias Marroquin, a 36-year-old resident of Santa Cruz County, was tragically killed on October 2, 2017. On that evening, at approximately 10:18 PM, Santa Cruz Police officers were flagged down near the San Lorenzo River Levee and the Broadway Bridge. They discovered an unconscious Hispanic male with multiple gunshot wounds.
