Cody Michael Lea, a 21-year-old from Modesto, California, tragically lost his life on November 21, 2017. Cody was fatally shot in what was later revealed to be a drug deal gone wrong. On that fateful night, Cody and his girlfriend went to East Back Park, where Cody intended to act as a middleman in a transaction involving two ounces of cocaine for $2,000.
