Nelson Leyva Jr., a 28-year-old resident of Lehigh Acres, Florida, tragically lost his life on March 30, 2021, following a shooting incident in Cape Coral. The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. in the 900 block of S.E. 16th Place. Upon arrival, officers found Leyva with gunshot wounds inside a residence. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Cape Coral Police Department confirmed that Leyva's death was being treated as a homicide, and they assured ...
