Ismael Armando Gutierrez Jr., a 21-year-old resident of Arvin, California, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2017. Gutierrez had been celebrating his 21st birthday with family and friends just hours before the incident. In the early hours of that Sunday, he and a 19-year-old woman were shot in Arvin. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Gutierrez succumbed to his injuries. His death left his family and friends in deep mourning, as they remembered him as a role model and a hard worker.
