LaGavin Jenkins Jr., a 17-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on September 20, 2022. According to reports, LaGavin was shot while lying in his bed at his home on Myer Avenue. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. when someone fired bullets into the house from outside. LaGavin was struck twice in the upper body and was found dead by his grandmother later that morning.
