Albert Leon Laushaul, a 31-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, was tragically killed in a shooting on January 26, 2018. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the Gateway Inn on Union Avenue near E. 10th Street. Laushaul was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
