Marquis Lomack, a 27-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on January 31, 2018. He was fatally shot just before 1 p.m. near the intersection of 45th and Market streets. Lomack was with a group of people when the shooting occurred, and another man in the group was also injured, though his injuries were not life-threatening.
