On the evening of March 7, 2018, Jeremiah Ascencio, a 17-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, California, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. Jeremiah, known affectionately as "Lil JJ," was with his older brother, Elijah "Eli" Ascencio, outside a Jack in the Box restaurant located at Old Lake Drive and Sunny Mead Ranch Parkway. Witnesses reported hearing six to seven gunshots. Eli was shot in the neck, and as Jeremiah rushed to his brother's side, he was shot in the chest. Both brothers ...
