Danilo Perez, a 19-year-old resident of East Palo Alto, California, was tragically shot and killed on December 13, 2018. The incident occurred around 12:29 a.m. on the 1200 block of Beech Street. The East Palo Alto Police Department was alerted to the shooting by their ShotSpotter system, which detects the sound of gunfire in the area.
