Raul Nava Lopez, a 42-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on the night of May 3, 2019, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred in the 500 block of South Clarence Street. Lopez had just parked his red pickup truck outside an apartment building when an unknown assailant approached him and opened fire. Despite being rushed to a hospital, Lopez was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on May 4, 2019.
