On the evening of May 30, 2019, Antonio Macias, a 39-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the 2300 block of Elm Avenue. Responding to a call about an assault with a deadly weapon, officers from the Long Beach Police Department arrived at the scene to find Macias lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
