Arlando Jefferson, a 23-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on June 3, 2019. Born on June 11, 1995, in Iowa City, Iowa, Arlando was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He was known for his involvement with St. Jude Clinic and St. Francis Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee, and was a graduate of Burlington High School. On the night of his death, Arlando was fatally shot in East Oakland, an incident that shocked and saddened his community.
