Leslie Andre Wakefield Jr., known professionally as DJ Official, was a Grammy-winning producer who tragically lost his life on June 14, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. Wakefield, aged 26, was fatally shot while sitting in the driver's seat of a black sedan with a friend in the 1900 block of West 78th Street in Manchester Square.
