David Banuelos, a 28-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on May 28, 2011, in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 1:25 a.m. outside a club located in the 4500 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Banuelos had been involved in a verbal dispute with another individual before the altercation escalated to gunfire.
