Steven Lashaun Phipps, a 37-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on February 29, 2020. The incident occurred in the 900 block of South Western Avenue in Koreatown. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Phipps was walking in the area shortly before 6:42 p.m. when an unknown assailant approached him and opened fire.
