On a Monday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of Derrick DeJuan 'Dee' Williams was tragically cut short. The 33-year-old African American man was outside a house, engaged in his work on November 28, 2011, when he was fatally shot. Emergency services transported him to Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City, but his injuries proved to be too severe.
