David De Jesus Hernandez, a 24-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on September 28, 2019, in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:15 a.m., in the stairwell of an apartment building located in the 700 block of South Serrano Avenue.
