Cali Rafeal Jones, a 38-year-old man from Los Angeles, was tragically shot and killed on June 14, 2017. The incident occurred in the 3400 block of West Florence Avenue in the Hyde Park neighborhood. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the shooting happened around 12:26 a.m. Patrol officers from the LAPD’s 77th Street Division responded to a call reporting a shooting and found Jones unconscious in the walkway of a duplex.
