Daniel Guillermo Zuniga, an 18-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on September 15, 2017, in the 300 block of Gulf Avenue in Wilmington, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Zuniga left his house around 11:35 a.m. to meet a friend and grab some food. As he was walking north on Gulf Avenue, two individuals, both wearing dark clothing, jumped out of a vehicle and chased him.
