Justin Alongino Holmes, a 21-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on October 1, 2017, in the Manchester Square neighborhood of Los Angeles. Holmes and two companions were walking west on West 78th Street near South Western Avenue when they were approached by two individuals who inquired about their gang affiliation.
