Philip Haney, a former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official and whistleblower, was found dead on February 21, 2020, near Plymouth, California. Haney, aged 66, was discovered with a single gunshot wound in a park-and-ride area adjacent to Highway 16 and Highway 124.
