Dre'sean Harris, a 22-year-old resident of Compton, California, was tragically shot and killed on July 7, 2015. The incident occurred around 10 a.m. in the courtyard of an apartment complex located in the 400 block of East Palmer Street. Harris was conversing with a 16-year-old boy when two unidentified men approached and opened fire. The assailants' bullets struck Harris, the teenager, and a 63-year-old man who was nearby.
