Rony Alexander Jovel, a 23-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on September 16, 2020, in Pacoima, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Jovel was shot near 11125 De Garmo Street. The incident occurred while Jovel and a friend were waiting for a ride. Two suspects approached them, leading to a confrontation that resulted in Jovel being fatally shot. Despite immediate efforts to save him, Jovel succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
