On August 15, 2018, Kassim Brown, a 25-year-old male from Chester, PA, was tragically gunned down in the 1100 block of James Street. The incident occurred at approximately 9:21 PM, and Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. This marked Chester's 12th homicide of the year.
