On a summer evening in Chester, Pennsylvania, the life of a young man was cut short by gunfire. Kassim Brown, a 25-year-old Black/African American male, was in the 1100 block of James Street on August 15, 2018, when shots rang out at approximately 9:21 PM. He was struck by the bullets and was pronounced dead at the scene.
