Ricardo Gaytan Ramirez, a 36-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on July 18, 2017, after being shot in the 400 block of Union Drive in the Westlake area of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Ramirez was attending a car wash fundraiser for a friend who had been fatally shot by police.
