On December 17, 2012, 18-year-old African American male Devante “Tae Banger” Billy was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. His death was part of a broader investigation into a violent crime spree that occurred in October 2012, involving multiple armed robberies and a home invasion that left attorney Sandy Kaynor paralyzed and later deceased.
