Carlos Macias, an 18-year-old resident of Hesperia, California, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2021. The incident occurred in the early hours of New Year's Day when deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a shooting on the 16500 block of Smoketree Street.
