David McDaniel, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in a shooting incident on December 19, 2018, in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred early in the morning when two individuals exited a gangway and opened fire on a group of men in the 400 block of North Hamlin Avenue. David McDaniel was shot multiple times and was transported to Stroger Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
