Edwin "Eddie" Phillips, 67, was tragically shot on the night of August 17, 2016, in Redding, California. The incident occurred around 11:16 p.m. near 3032 Bechelli Lane. Responding officers discovered Phillips with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he later passed away. The crime scene was located behind a series of businesses, including a motorcycle repair shop where Phillips was known to frequent.
