Dezay Richardson, a 15-year-old from North Highlands, California, tragically lost his life on January 9, 2021. Dezay was walking home with a friend after spending time at the Scandia Fun Center when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 8:00 PM near the intersection of Madison Avenue and Harrison Street. According to witnesses, multiple gunshots were heard, and Dezay was struck by the gunfire.
