In the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans, a young man's promising future was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. Gerald Antoine 'Snug' Johnson, a 21-year-old male, was driving his car on Monroe Street on the evening of Wednesday, February 20, 2013, when he was struck by multiple bullets. The attack caused him to lose control of his vehicle, which then crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the victim of a senseless act of violence.
