On February 20, 2013, 21-year-old Gerald Johnson was found dead in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of North Dorgenois Street, near the intersection with Allen Street. Johnson was discovered unresponsive on the sidewalk after police responded to a call at around 10:24 a.m. The New Orleans Police Department confirmed it was investigating the death as a homicide, though at the time, no further details about suspects or motives were available.
