In the early hours of a Wednesday in August 2016, the life of a promising young man, Edward Davis III, was tragically cut short. The 24-year-old was discovered in a New Orleans East apartment complex, the victim of a fatal shooting. The New Orleans Police Department reported that he was found with a single gunshot wound to his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
