Aaron Renaldo Cowart, a 24-year-old resident of Gretna, Louisiana, tragically lost his life to gun violence on December 19, 2017, in New Orleans. The young father was a devoted parent to his daughter, Eryn Alexa Cowart. Aaron was deeply loved by his family, which included his parents, Homer Earl Cowart and JoAnn Perry, as well as his siblings and extended relatives. His passing left a void in the lives of those who knew him, and the community came together to mourn his untimely death.
