In the warm evening hours of Monday, June 19, 2017, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the life of 23-year-old Talmadge Scott Jr., a male, was tragically cut short. The incident that led to his untimely death unfolded in the 1100 block of North Roman Street, located near the city's historic Treme neighborhood. It was there, at approximately 8:30 p.m., that the sound of gunfire pierced the night, leaving Scott with fatal injuries.
