Marcel Alley Jr., a 17-year-old from Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on May 16, 2021, in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of another 17-year-old, Isaac Mitchell. The shooting occurred around 5:53 p.m. in the 2100 block of East 26th Street near Highland Avenue, adjacent to Morgan Plaza Park.
